the second street trap
“damn you tunnel and your crazy lights!”
2nd street Downtown Los Angeles. This tunnel never seizes to get my attention everytime I pass by this hollow hunk of illuminated concrete. Yes! like a bug being drawn to the light, I was at it’s mercy. Clueless and dumbfounded I stare..and I say someday..
Alas!
Last night, we parked .. we waited for the stop.. we ran.. looked bothways.. we ran again… snap snap.. look both ways.. then ran some more.. did that for a couple of times.. and went home satisfied with the photos and relieved knowing that nobody fell prey to the mighty concrete bug zapper and lived to see another day.
